Jella Haase

Jella Haase was born in 1992 and began doing plays as a child, then moved on to acting in films as a teenager.

Her first lead was in the 2008 film „Mama is coming“ (director: Isebell Kleefeld) with Senta Berger and Anja Kling. In 2009, she played disabled Aurelia in „Polizeiruf 110 – Death in the studio“, directed by Thorsten Näher. She also starred in „Love knocked-up“ (director: Hans-Jörg Thurn), „My family is killing me” (director: Christiane Balthasar) and “Polizeiruf 110 – One of us” (director: Eoin Moore). 

After taking part in several short films, she secured her first role in a feature film in 2010’s „Hearts of men“ and the one great love“, directed by Simon Verhoeven as well as a lead role in the debut film „The Warrior“ by David Falko Wendt. She also starred in the directorial debut of Ziska Riemann “Friedenau” and in the action comedy “My Country” (director: Florian Kern) in 2010.
