Oliver Hohengarten began his career in 2000 as a revisor for filmpool, then moved on to dramatic advisor for the crime soap „Niedrig & Kuhnt“ in 2002. In 2005, he transferred to development of the fiction department at filmpool. Here, he developed several series and film concepts for ZDF, Sat.1 and Pro 7 as a dramatic advisor and inhouse writer.  One of the concepts created was a pitch for the RTL series “Countdown”.

Since 2007, Oliver Hohengarten has been developing material for television and internet together with Sebastian Büttner. Their last project together was the action series “112 – they save your life” (RTL). Sebastian Büttner served as head writer, Oliver Hohengarten as a storyliner and story editor.
