Uwe Gonzoldt has made it: he is the son of a middle-class company owner from southern Essen, who, with discipline and relentlessness, founded his own corporation Protecta Society in Stuttgart. Today, Protecta Society is one of the leading firms specialising in surveillance technology in the world. From the outside, the 52 year-old’s life looks perfect: elegant suits, sunny-boy smile, a loving wife and two well-adjusted children. However, things are not as they seem. As open as the entrepreneur pretends to be, the less able is he to allow for any closeness.
